At the ending of the poem, the innocent Nightingale dies by inviting her own death at the hands of the callous, evil Frog. The life of the creatures Of Bingle Bog is unaltered at the end as the Frog, once again, continues singing in his croaky voice, becoming the unrivalled, and undefeated singer of the Bog.
