The young seagull was afraid of flight so he didnot even try to fly off to his parents and siblings on the other side.

The things which maddened him were:

1. He was deprived of food so he was very hungry that day and due to hunger he was maddened.

2.And when he saw his mother bringing him some food(fish) his eyes were maddened. This showed that how much he was hungry..
