♦ Neem leaves should be kept alomg with the grains during storage to prevent insects and microbes to damage the grains.

♦ The grains should be treated with pesticides and fungicides to prevent insects from damaging crops.

♦ We can increase the amount of nitrogen and decrease the amount of oxygen in the silos. This helps to prevent insects and the grains can be stored for longer period of time.
