Why should the pandemic change me. I was strong willed and happy before and I remain so. The media is filling the country with fear and despondency, plus the politicians taking advantage of that situation to increase their power (tyrannical) in the name of public safety only matters if your take it seriously.
The media has a job to tell the public stories that grab their imagination so they “stay tuned” in order to sell advertising time. The larger the audience the more money they can charge advertisers, think “ratings.” In this instance they sold a pretend plague, you’re all going to die, called COVID-19 and unfortunately the public, for the most part” bought it lock, stock and barrel.
