What makes a rainbow?

Internal refraction of several colours (VIBGYOR) in raindrops while raining causes the formation of rainbow.

As white colour passed from prism is splitted into seven colors that is VIBGYOR. Similarly after rain when sunlight is passed from rain drops present in atmosphere rainbow is formed.
