FEDERALISM is a form of government in which power is divided between a central authorities and various constituents units of the country.

India is a federal country. In India 'Holding Together Federation' is followed. It divides India's government into three tier :-

1.The National or Central Government:
*it is the most powerful tier of government.
*same for the whole country.

2.The State or Regional Government:
*second tier of government and free form center government.
*it vary from state to state.

3.The Local Government:
*it is the government at local level.
*it includes panchayat, municipality, municipal corporation etc.
