What makes KCL a bad conductor of electricity?

Ionic compound do not conduct electricity in solid state beacuse electron motion results in electricity being conducted but in solid state the constructive particles are strongly bonded in fixed position thus they can't move from one place to another. In molten state the ionic compounds is split into ions and ions are charged particles which are free to move so conduct electricity
