actually the force between the nucleus and the valence electrons of the metal atoms is very less due to which the electrons move out of the parent atoms easily and creates a large number of free electrons inside it which keeps moving randomly in all directions inside the metal.

Actually it is not the protons but the flow of electrons which constitute electric current.

The protons are very tightly attached to the nucleus by the very strong nuclear force.
