defined of the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter,pi, seems a simple enough concept. but it turns out to be an, " irrational number" meaning its exact value inherently unknowable..... the number crops up in the natural World, too. among a collection of random whole number, the probability that any two number have no common factor - that they are "relatively prime."

ttletat: Could you provide an example of what you mean please?
ttletat: If the number is irrational what exactly does that mean by way of creation?
