QUESTION:-
What makes scientific investigations different from other types of investigations?
ANSWER:-
Scientific Investigations Are Different From Other Types Of Investigations
- An Investigation is a method of resolving a question by observations, comprising designing, studying and compiling data. It does not include testing a hypothesis by altering one variable while keeping the other components constant.
- Whereas in Scientific investigation, scientists operating experiments also have a question, but they denote the result by making a hypothesis. They also specify the variables in their investigation and try to regulate all these variables so that only one is altered. Because of the way investigations are operated, they are frequently very precise means of inferring a phenomenon.
- An Investigation begins with an observation and a question such as an experiment but it doesn't need the scientist to make a hypothesis about the result. Most investigations are established by observing elements, doing research on the issue or making a model or graph to answer the question.
- Whereas in Scientific investigation, science assists to understand the virtue of the world around us. Long before the scientific method was stabilized, people used to learn elements about the real world through investigations.
