all the three Lithium potassium and caesium are alkali metals still potassium and caesium are used in the photoelectric cell and not lithium this is because compared to the caesium and potassium Lithium is smaller in size and requires high energy to lose an electron while on the other and potassium and caesium have ionization energy hence they can easily lose electrons this property of the potassium and caesium is utilised in the photoelectric cells
