when one add years to it?​

the yeast in the dough feeds on the carbohydrates and starch or the sugar present in it. This allows the yeast to carry on with its life activities and carry in with the process of respiration. Carbon dioxide is released during respiration which leads to air getting trapped in the dough and help it to rise and become fluffy
