Answer:
Why does the earth behave like a magnet?
Because of its core. Its core is made up of molten iron. It produces the magnetic field & earth behave as a magnet.
The geographical south pole of earth is magnetic north pole & the geographical north pole is south magnetic pole.
After a long time, earth was changes its poles.
As we know any magnet loses its magnetism by time. Earth is also, when the molten iron core is become cold, & it is too dangerous situation because the solar wind will destroys all the life on earth.
Mars doesn't have its magnetic field, so due to solar wind, atmosphere of Mars is evaporated & doesn't support life.
Earth's magnetic field is reflects solar wind. As we know any magnet is reflects paramagnetic materials like air.
