Answer :

According to me we commit blunders due to two main reasons . The first being - our over confidence . When we are too much confident about something , we will forget to do or consider something which we might have otherwise noticed or done . Self confidence is not a good thing unlike confidence . So , to look at all sides of a situation a person needs to be confident but not over confident . Another reason I think blunders are committed is our carelessness and our habit of taking things for granted . I say this because , when we know that we will get something , no matter the number of mistakes we do , then we will be more careless at handling such situations . Carelessness comes when we start taking things for granted , which will in turn make us prone to commit blunders . In short the two main reasons ( according to me ) due to which we commit blunders are - over confidence and having the habit of taking things for granted .
