What makes you atheist and what makes you follower, paganism etc.

An atheist is simply one who doesn't believe in God. As long as you don't have belief (and others know you don't)...then you are atheist. Atheists don't necessarily need to born into an atheist family.
By 'follower' I'm assuming that you mean someone who does believe in God.
Although all religions believe in a supernatural being, there are all sorts of religions out there which are basically distinguished by the God(s) they worship, beliefs and religious practices. Most 'followers' are usually born to parents who are also religious or they might convert themselves.
