Human wants strong sense of identity to feel his uniqueness.He wants to know how he is special from other.He couldnt find something about inside him,so adopted the identities given by outside world that are based on superficial difference like geography,religion and race.knowing himself as a human being does not gives him strong sense of identity,it doesnt suits his ego.saying "i am proud of being alive"will weak his ego more.saying "i am proud of being a part of universe"he will feel very very ordinary .
