No of moles in 20g O2 = 20/32 = 0.625 moles

Let req wt of CO2 be x g.

Atomic wt of CO2 is approx. 44 g

(No of moles of CO2 = no of moles of O2)

Applying formula,

No of moles of CO2 = Req wt / atomic wt

(Substitute values of terms)

0.625 = x / 44

So, x = 0.625 * 44

Therefore x = 27.5 g
