As we know that molarity=no:of moles/volume
Here no of moles =weight/gram molecular weighn=w/58.5
(gram molecular weight of NaCl is 58.5)
Now given molarity is 2.5M so
2.5=w/58.5*1/2.5
W/58.5=2.5*2.5
W=2.5*2.5*58.5=365.625
Hence weight of NaCl required is 365.625grams
