What mass of NaOH is in 260 mL of a 5.9 M NaOH solution?

Number of moles = Volume × Concentration

= 0.26 × 5.9 = = 1.53moles

Number of moles = mass/molarmass

Mass = molarmass × number of moles

= 23 × 1.53

=35.19gram
