1. BaCl2 (aq) + Na2SO4 (aq) → BaSO4 (s) + 2NaCl (aq)

2. NaOH (aq) + HCl (aq) → NaCl (aq) + H2O (l)

Answer: 3.68 g of  sodium sulphate

Explanation: Every chemical equation follows the law of conservation of mass which states that the mass on the reactant side must be equal to the mass on the product side.

Na_2SO_4+BaCl_2\rightarrow BaSO_4+2NaCl

The mass of the products = 6.10g + 2.8g = 8.9g

Thus the mass of reactants should be =8.9g

The mass of  barium chloride is given to be =5.22 g Thus the mass of sodium sulphate =(8.9-5.22)g= 3.68g
