in respiration in plants they use carbon dioxide as their product and release oxygen as their by product.
in plants at the time of respiration what basically happened is that they take carbon dioxide from the environment as they have special pores present in their leaves which are called stomata from the sports they get carbon dioxide and after that which water and why the use of photosynthesis they prepared glucose as their food so this is the respiration in plants.

Photosynthesis also uses carbon dioxide faster than respiration produces it. Oxygen surplus is released into the air and unused glucose stored in the plant for later use.
