Recent Mumbai have seen huge fuel consumption because of its economic growth. Because of this regional global warming is observed. Along with this air, water and noise pollution  have taken birth as a result of the of Industrial Revolution. Vehicles are the major contributors to air pollution. Increase in the consumption of wood have lead to deforestation. Increased use of chemical fertilizers degrade the soil quality.

Using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as fuel in vehicle can lower the pollution level.  Similarly, using Solar Power through Photovoltaic Cells reduce pollution. Substituting Bio-compost with chemical fertilizers improves soil quality.
