There are many measures taken by Indan government to strengthen democracy. They are:-

1 - Reservation given to the backward class people like SCs,STs and OBCs to stop discrimination and strengthen the democracy.

2 - Improve the conditions of women and girls by implementing a no. of programs like "Beti Bachao, Beti Padao" to give Right to Equality.

3 -  Once in every five years, or even earlier where the situation demands elections are being conducted to the satisfaction of everybody, barring a few cynics.

4 - In most of the elections the % of voters is 60 to 80 which is enough proof our democracy is functioning normally.

5 - Giving the right to vote to all so that all citizens get equal chance to take part in democracy and choose their representative.
