Hi!

Water that you take in from nature and that you used for your needs, must be return back to nature in the same condition and with the same quality as when you receive it.

No pollutants can be dumped into any water source, or sewer system by any body. All has to be recycled or treated to neutralized the pollutants.

All used water entering the rivers must be treated and before entering back into the rivers, they must passed through fish ponds to proof their water quality.

Back in 1995, the Indian Ministry of Environment and Forest had brought up a scheme to protect Indian rivers from pollution. NRCP (National River Conservation Plan) is the name of the scheme.  

The scheme aimed to prevent the pollution in Indian rivers and still aiming to do so. The action plan provided the information on water sanction to each state according to its purpose. The plant also covers the construction of Sewage Treatment Plants across Indian states to reduce sewage from the cities that polluting the rivers.
