• It is one of the Telangana Flagship programmes which also known as Telangana ku Haritha Haram to rejuvenate degraded forests, protecting these forests from threats such as smuggling, encroachment, fire and grazing.

• It promotes afforestation program by providing free tree samplings, conducting small awareness programs explaining the importance of the trees.

• It strictly against all activities related to deforestation. Its main aim is to protect the trees and plants from unnecessary damages.
