In order to recharge your ground water, deepen some depressions in the ground by excavation through shramadan by villagers and see that the entire rain water flow on the ground is diverted to these depressions. Let not any rainwater flow away elsewher ,Ground water level is decreasing rapidly. In near future, a huge number of population will face the "zero water" situation. So, it is required to save rain water as much as possible. Please suggest some innovative ideas on rain water conservation and increase ground water level.

Steps to increase groundwater level in area of a village are :-

1)Construct percolation tanks, which improves the ground water and recharges the wells and bore wells around the tanks and also attracts the migratotry birds .

2)Construct small tanks in the fields, which helps in percolation and increase the ground water level and also helps the live stock for drinking water.
