What measures do you suggest to reduce the pollution of rivers?

To reduce the pollution of river :

• should not drain sewage water into the river
• avoid washing cloths,bathing(using shampoo,soap,etc...)
• immersion of ashes and unburnt corpses should be avoided
• do not leave any polythene cover and plastic made items into the river after using
