In Vietnam French needed an unskilled workforce who know French. Accordingly, they started to educate the Vietnamese in the French language.

But keeping in mind that after their proper education the Vietnamese, they may ask questions against French colonization of Vietnam which was not desired by French.

So, they did not educate proper French language and failed in the French subject examination in the final year examination.

Their objective was to get low wages worker. Commander Nauvari was posted in the colonized Vietnam French as a commander. The problems  faced by him are :

(i)    The Vietnamese challenged to rebel against French education

(ii)    The Chinese had an influence on Vietnamese.
