Chasing the Rainbow by Manoj Das brings us the message that every person has the right to find colors in her life by getting education which is not a luxury, but a necessity. Lali, an unprivileged girl, whose parents bring her to work as domestic help is shown the possibility to chase the rainbow by Mithi, the daughter in the family who takes up this responsibility to teach her. Nevertheless, her parents are not very convinced with the idea of sending her to school when Mothi's school agrees to give Lali admission. The story also brings out the perspective of Lali's parents and how we have to tackle such problems that hinder the path to education.
