The ghost conveys that the narrator has been a traitor as he had not prevented the people in the home from using the ouiza board and she also tries to convey that he has been in an illicit relationship with a lady named Helen.

When the ladies came to know of the narrator's relationship with Helen, his wife starts looking at him suspiciously and indirectly wanted to know that who she was.
