in bishop's candlesticks the poet conveys that the heart of the true is the temple of god . the kind heart bishop does not punish the convict or tell to the cops and he let him go &provided him food ,even he stole his candlesticks he does not mentioned it he gave the silver candle sticks to him he changed a beast into man. an other message in this is a true love and affection can change a beast into a man
