In the poem 'A tiger in the zoo', the poet tells us the differences of the life of tiger in zoo with the tiger in its natural habitat that is forests.

He also tells us that all animals have the right to live on this earth and no one should be caged.

They should not be kept in cages of zoo and allowed to be free in the wild. According to the poet, a free tiger should be roaring around and terrorising the villagers.
