The six persons sitting around a fire did not give their log due to different prejudices. No matter how advanced we have become in the use of technology, no matter how communication technology has resulted in shrinking of the boundaries, resulting into a global village, yet man has still not able to get rid of his prejudices. This is highly symbolic of the folly of people's ill-feeling against their fellow men. If people are narrow-minded they can never enjoy a happy and peaceful life. People can help each other with physical and intellectual capacities they have but if they persists in discriminating, they are all lost in a press where no human hands can survive.
