The novel kashi yatre gave us the message that service to humanity is service to god. The progonist of the novel was having a very strong desire to go to kashi and worship lord vishveshwara. At the end she gave her money collected ,to an orphan girl who was poor. In the end she said that the little girl's happiness is more than going to kashi.

this act of her signifies that 'Service to humanity is Service to God'.!
