▶The metal which gives a pale green solution when it is reacted with hydrochloric acid is Iron(Fe). The formula is-

Iron + hydrochloric acid  →  Iron chloride + dihydrogen gas

Fe(s)+2HCl(aq)→FeCl2(aq)+H2(g)↑
