What method of dating bone would yield the most accurate results?

for ancient objects found in situ, you might use C14 dating on leather or wood parts or charcoal found at the same level, If it is stone only, then C14 would be the only method, 

If the object has been moved, there is no way to tell precisely, but artistic styles on it should give a maximum and minimum age
