What method of separation can be used to separate sulfur and common salt?

Sulphur is insoluble in water and can be filtered out.

Evaporate the common salt solution to get crystals of common salt.

Answer:

Filter the solution and evaporate it to get sulphur. Sand is dried on filter paper. Collect the residue (Sand and Sulphur powder)and dissolve it in carbon disulphide, CS2. Sulphur dissolves in carbon disulphide but sand is insoluble in carbon disulphide.
