Special reactions thatoccur on PSCs, combined with the relative isolation of polar stratospheric air, allow chlorine and bromine reactions to pro- duce the ozone hole inAntarctic springtime.

Hey,
When PSC temperatures no longer occur, on average, either by late Janu- ary to early February in the Arctic or by mid-October in the Antarctic, the most intense period of ozone depletion ends.
