The tiger moves softly and silently and angrily in the cage. On the other hand it moves lurking and snarling in the wild as it is totally free.

Explanation:

The tiger in George Leslie Norris’ poem “The Tiger in the Zoo” when caged moves very quietly and tiptoes all around those bound places with fury and wrath in his mind since he is captivated and not free.

However when he is out in the open, taking a stroll in the wilderness, he feels energised as he is totally free. He runs around, hides in the long bushes and gnarls and snarls at other animals showing his majestic and regal nature.
