\huge\mathfrak\blue{Answer:}

Given:

  • We have been given two rational numbers 4/7 and 8/3

To Find:

  • We have to find a number that must be added to 4/7 to get 8/3

Solution:

Let the required number = x

According to the Question

 =  >  \dfrac{4}{7}  + x =  \dfrac{8}{3}

 =  > x =  \dfrac{8}{3}  -  \dfrac{4}{7}

Taking 21 as LCM we get

  =  > x =  \dfrac{(8 \times 7) - (4 \times 3) }{21}

 =  > x =   \dfrac{56 - 12 }{21}

 =  >  x =  \dfrac{44}{21}

Required number is 44/21
