Solution -

​​Let's assume the number as x

 According to Question,  

(- 75) + x = (- 39)  

⇒ x = (- 39) + 75  

⇒ x = 36  

The required no. = x = 36  

∴The number is 36

Note -

Here, we had transposed the number   (- 75) into another side where it changed it's sign and became (+ 75) ...
