Let X must be added to 49:68 to become it 3:4
THEREFORE,
49/68 + X = 3/4
49 + 68X ÷ 68 = 3/4
4(49+68X) = 68 × 3
196 + 272X = 204
272X = 204-196
272X = 8
X = 8/272 = 2/68 = 1/34
Hence,
1/34 must be added to 49/68 to make it 3/4
