Hiii friend,

Let X must be added to 49:68 to become it 3:4

THEREFORE,

49/68 + X = 3/4

49 + 68X ÷ 68 = 3/4

4(49+68X) = 68 × 3

196 + 272X = 204

272X = 204-196

272X = 8

X = 8/272 = 2/68 = 1/34

Hence,

1/34 must be added to 49/68 to make it 3/4

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.... :-)

Let x should be added to each term,

Now,

(49+x)/(68+x) = 3/4

4(49+x) = 3(68+x)

196 + 4x = 204+ 3x

4x - 3x = 204 - 196

x = 8

Now,8 should be added to each term.

I hope this will help you
