what must be added to polynomial 2x^3-3x^2-8x,so that it leaves a remainder 10 when divided by 2x+1

add -3

solution....

f(x)=2x^3-3x^2-8x

put x=-1/2. (2x+1=0)

f(-1/2)=3

so f(x)-3

is divisible by 2x+1
