x=2/3-5/12
LCM of 3 and 4=12
x=2/3×4×4-5/12×1/1
x=8/12-5/12
x=3/12
x=1/4
so
5/12+x=2/3
x=2/3-5/12

x=2/3×4×4-5/12×1/1
x=8/12-5/12
x=3/12
x=1/4
