$x^4 -x^3 +x^2 + x+3 + y = x^4 + x^2 -1$


y = $x^4 + x^2 -1 - x^4 +x^3 -x^2 -x-3$


y = $-4 -x +x ^3$


Now,

$x^3 -x -1$

should be subtracted
