Answer:

given

3x²-5xy+y² -(ax²+bxy+cy²) =2y²-x²+XY

therefore

3x²-5xy+y²-(2y²-x²+XY)=ax²+bxy+cy²

3x²+x²-5xy-xy+y²+2y²=ax²+bxy+cy²

4x²-6xy+3y²=ax²+bxy+cy²

therefore the equation to be substracted is

4x²-6xy+3y²
