let's put X

give:-

  • =(3x²-6xy-3y²-1) + X = 4x²-7xy-4y²+1
  • = X= ( 4x²-7xy-4y²+1) - (3x²-6xy-3y²-1) (by transposing LHS to RHS)
  • so, X= x²-xy-y²+2

hence, if we will subtract x²-xy-y²+2 from 3x²-6xy-3y²-1

we will get 4x²-7xy-4y²+1
