heya mate... here's ur answer..

first divide 8x4+14x3+x2+7x-8 by 4x2-3x+2

4x2-3x+2)8x4+14x3+x2+7x-8(

(now carry on urself till in remainder the power of X is smaller the the power of X in divisor)

the quotient will be the required number which should be subtracted from the given polynomial so that it is completely divisible...
