(3-2x)/2= 2/3

3-2x = (2/3)*2

3-2x = 4/3

-2x = 4/3 - 3

-2x = (4-9)/3

x = -5/3 ÷ -2

x = 5/6 [ the negative sign gets cancelled while dividing]

∴ the no. to be subtracted = 5/6
