Length * Breadth = area of the rectangle :: 2(length + breadth                                                                                                                )=perimeter(rect)

From the statement.. area is equal to its perimeter

=> Length * Breadth = 2(length + breadth )

=> Length * Breadth = 2 length + 2 breadth

Length * Breadth - 2 breadth = 2 Length

Therefore,

You can substitute values of Area and either length for finding breadth and vice -versa in this equation.

Area−2breadth/2=2Length

Area−2length/2=2breadth
